Avery

My arms begin to tremble from the weight of my body. I’m not exactly sure what just happened or what is going to happen next. Samuel gave me what I wanted; he took my virginity.

“If only it was more than just sex,” I whisper into the steam filled bathroom. I stand and begin to undress before stepping into the shower. “Time to return to reality. What’s done is done, Avery. You got what you wanted, now it’s time to accept the consequences.”

After giving myself a pep talk, I take a deep breath and begin to wash away all memories of my one and only time with Samuel.
